In this short article, I would like to convey the emotions I felt towards such a wonderful car as the BMW 760i.

The BMW 760 with E65 bodywork was one of the most ferocious cars of its time. At the top of the BMW food chain! I don’t want to get into an argument today about which was better, the W220 S600 or the E65 760, nor do I want to belittle Mercedes. In my opinion, the 65 Sitsmene, especially after the 2005 restyling, is one of the most gorgeous cars, both then and now. But the 760, V12 emblems said a lot about the car itself and its owner! This car was not for mere mortals, and the BMW 760 was definitely for the especially rich. The content of this car deserves a separate advanced article. Buy spare parts at the price of “Boeing”, or buy brake pads at the price of “Boeing wing” – all these are stories about BMW 760. Buying cheap parts is not about the 760.

Well it is a limousine, from the preeminum class, one of the best and most expensive in the world, respectively all spare parts cost beyond reason.

I had a BMW 760i with a short body, as I didn’t have a hired driver and preferred to be behind the wheel myself. This, amongst other things, gave me maximum peace of mind. A BMW is a special car that gives me special emotions!

“It’s certainly not an M5, but you can’t get away from the genes. All the more so because the 760 is capable of so much. Since I prefer to be behind the wheel myself, I chose the 760i as my short-wheelbase car. “Seven” is first of all a car for the driver, and it does not matter whether it is “long” or not. But those who prefer to lie on the back of the sofa rather than drive the car themselves probably preferred the S-Class W220.

As for me, I wanted the change of emotion and peace of mind from the handling that the BMW 760 offers. Many times I’ve heard the phrase, “What are you doing, it’s eating petrol…”. I always reply, “I’m not paying for petrol, but for the emotions this car gives me!”. Those emotions filled me to the brim! I could walk around quietly, carefree, surrounded by this German luxury! But when lyrical nostalgia visited me, I couldn’t deny myself the pleasure of sliding sideways through bends – the 760ne does it with playful ease! From time to time, I unleash the demons that live under the bonnet of the 760ne. This is a limousine with character. Quiet on the outside, wild on the inside!

There are no sonic bursts or squealing pipes like an AMG, but rather it takes a little more serious pressure on the accelerator pedal to instantly awaken the demon under the bonnet. A demon ready to serve you if you have the skills to tame it.

Under the bonnet is a big six-litre V12 free-revving engine mated to a two-speed automatic gearbox. The engine is low-volume, extracting just 445 horsepower from 12 cylinders and six litres. As a result, the car was indifferent to petrol quality and was very popular in oil-producing countries. Particularly where the fuel sold on the domestic market was not of the best quality.

I did not set myself the task to tell about the level of equipment of the car, etc., this is a material for a separate article. In short, this is a technological demonstration of the car.

Today this incomparable BMW 760 is owned by collectors who use it as a hobby car. I am 100% sure that this is a classic of the future!

At one point the prices of this car dropped very low, in my opinion unjustifiably. Today the market situation has changed dramatically and a decent BMW 760, especially after the 2005 restyling, is hard to find for less than €20,000 and there are very few of them at all in Europe. I’m not afraid to suggest that the BMW 760s on offer after the 2005 restyling can be counted on the fingers of one hand. But for a good copy with low mileage you will have to lay out about 30,000 euros.

This is an incredible car with incredible energy.

I would say that you need to be in a hurry to become the owner of such a BMW of the seventh series. Because in the near future, the prices of this car will only go up.

It is an unrivalled car in any monstrosity.
